Publish content and understand screen status

Publish a video

Open the video in Studio, complete review, and select Publish. The new publication becomes the live version and is delivered to connected screens.

Activate a playlist

Open Playlists, select the list, and choose Play on screens. The playlist becomes the active assignment for connected displays.

Online and offline

An online screen is actively sending a heartbeat. A screen can appear offline when the device sleeps, the browser closes, power is lost, or the network is interrupted. Offline status does not automatically unpair the device.

Automatic refresh

Connected players check for published content and deployment updates. A normal publication should appear without manually re-pairing the screen. Cached content can continue during a temporary network interruption, then refresh after connectivity returns.

If the wrong content appears

1. Confirm the intended video is published or the playlist is active.
2. Check that the player page is still open.
3. Confirm internet access.
4. Refresh the browser once.
5. If the problem continues, disconnect and pair the screen again.
