Broadcast and clear live announcements

Live announcements temporarily place an urgent message over selected connected screens.

Send an announcement

1. Open Manage screens.
2. Find Broadcast announcement.
3. Enter a short, clear message.
4. Choose how long it should remain visible.
5. Select one or more target screens. Online screens are selected by default.
6. Select Broadcast.

Targeting

Use individual selection for a location-specific message or Select all for a workspace-wide notice. Verify the screen names before sending.

Clear a message

Select the screens with an active announcement and choose Clear active message. Expired messages clear automatically after their selected duration.

Writing guidance

• Keep the message brief enough to read quickly.
• Include an action and destination when needed.
• Do not include sensitive customer or health information.
• Use announcements for temporary notices; update and republish a video for permanent content.
