Create and use secure preview links

Preview links are for review and approval. They are separate from connected-screen playback and commercial website embeds.

Create a preview link

1. Open the dashboard.
2. Select Share on a video or playlist.
3. Choose an expiration: 1 hour, 24 hours, or 48 hours. Accounts with the applicable capability may also offer a non-expiring option.
4. Select Create preview link.
5. Copy the generated URL and send it to the reviewer.

What the reviewer sees

The link opens a read-only snapshot. A draft link shows the captured draft; a published link shows the captured publication; a playlist link shows the captured playlist. Later edits do not change an existing preview snapshot.

Security

Anyone with the bearer link can view the snapshot until it expires. Send it only to intended recipients. Create a new link when you need a new expiration or an updated snapshot.

Use the right sharing method

• Use a preview link for approvals and temporary review.
• Use a Growth website embed for a permanent public player that updates after republishing.
